Estonia April 2015: Dacia Duster takes the lead

The Dacia Duster is the best-selling nameplate in Estonia in April.

New car sales in Estonia are down a tiny 0.7% year-on-year in April to 2.028 registrations, bringing the year-to-date total to 6.953 units, up 2% on 2014. After being passed by Honda last month, Toyota reclaims the #1 brand spot it holds year-to-date with 12.7% share, ahead of Skoda (9.1%), Volkswagen (9%), Renault (7.5%) and Opel (7.2%). This month the Dacia Duster brilliantly takes the lead of the models ranking thanks to 80 units sold for a 3.9% market share. It distances the Skoda Octavia (3.6%) still leader in 2015 so far, Toyota Avensis (3.2%), Honda CR-V (3.1%) and Kia Sportage (3%) while the Subaru Legacy jumps up to #6, the VW Passat is up 10 spots on March to #7 and the Nissan Pulsar advances to #20.
