Based on data communicated by Central European market data specialists www.ceauto.co.hu, the Bosnian new car market is up a very discreet 0.8% year-on-year to 6,514 registrations in 2014. The Skoda Octavia is the favourite choose in Bosnia & Herzegovina for the third consecutive year, staying on top despite sales down 4% to 478 units and 7.3% share. As the Opel Astra sinks lower into the sales charts of most European rankings, it is up 26% year-on-year in Bosnia, overtaking its once-archenemy the VW Golf to claim the 2nd spot overall with 5.3% share vs. 5.1% for the Golf. The VW Polo is up 85% to #4 and the Skoda Rapid up 24% to #5.
