According to data provided by SEMO Cyprus and analysed by INNOSOFT, new car sales in Cyprus are up 17% year-to-date over the first 9 months of 2014 to 6,350 units, including 683 registrations in September alone, up 31% on the same month in 2013, so great trends all round here. The year-to-date models ranking experiences one change in the Top 8 compared to last month: below the Toyota Yaris, Nissan Qashqai and Ford Fiesta, the Honda CR-V overtakes the Volvo XC60 to reclaim the #4 spot. In September, the Toyota RAV4 brilliantly takes the lead of the overall sales charts thanks to 45 units sold, followed by the Ford Fiesta, Nissan Qashqai, Nissan Juke (now #10 year-to-date) and Nissan Note (now #18 ytd). Notice also the Renault Captur up to #21 so far in 2014 and now distinctly above the Clio as the brand’s best-seller in Cyprus, and Mercedes placing 3 models inside the year-to-date Top 30 vs. just one last month: the CLA at #27, E Class at #28 and C Class at #30.
Previous month: Cyprus August 2014: Volvo XC60 now #4 year-to-date
Previous year: Cyprus Full Year 2013: Ford Fiesta keeps lead in market down 32%
