After exploring the Top 15 brands and Top 80 models in France in March, as is the tradition on BSCB we now dig a little deeper to find out what’s happening lower in the ranking. But first let’s salute the Nissan Qashqai II, now that generations splits are available for this model: it already ranks 16th with 2,869 sales and 1.7% share and pretty much instantly replacing the previous generation in the French sales charts. The VW Coccinelle (French for beetle) is up 35 spots on March to reach #65 thanks to 638 units while the Mini III is up 11 to stop only two sales short off the Top 100 at #101.
Range Rover Sport sales (above) are now separated from the Range Rover in France.
Further down, the Kia Soul is up 72 ranks on last month to #117, the VW Eos is up 63 to #135 as Summer purchases heat up, the Range Rover Sport – now separated from the Range Rover – lands at #140 with 149 sales, the Jeep Grand Cherokee is up 71 spots to #145, the Porsche Macan is up 83 to #158, the Renault Latitude up 79 to #169 and the Ford Ecosport up 86 to #183. Finally, we welcome the Mercedes V-Class in the French ranking this month at #230 with 25 units sold.
