Finland September 2013: Skoda Octavia leads, Volvo V40 up to #5

Finnish new car sales are up 3% year-on-year in September to 8,139 registrations, reducing the year-to-date fall to 9% at 79,999 units. For the third time in the last 4 months, the Skoda Octavia is the most successful model in Finland thanks to 515 sales and 6.3% share, however it is stuck in third place year-to-date at 3,289 units and 4.1% vs. 3,697 and 4.6% for the VW Golf and 3,376 and 4.2% for the Nissan Qashqai, respectively #3 and #2 in September. Other great performers in Finland this month include the Volvo V40 up a massive 12 spots to #5 and the Audi A3 up 3 to #8 vs. #18 year-to-date.
