After reaching 5 year-high levels in 2012, the Bruneian new car market marks a pause this year, down 4% year-on-year in June to 1,586 registrations and down 3% year-to-date to 9,227 units. Brand-wise, Toyota leaves Kia in the dust in June thanks to sales down just 1% to 357 units and 22.5% share vs. 249 and 15.7% for Kia, down a harsh 29% year-on-year. Suzuki remains on the third step of the podium with 138 sales and 8.7%, up 16% year-on-year. Notice also Mitsubishi up 110% to #4, Mazda up 171% to #7, Mercedes up 88% to #8, Proton up 100% to #9 and Ford up 173% to #10.
