After starting the year rather sheepishly, sales of hybrid and electric cars are back in shape in February, with most models recording sharp year-on-year growth. The Toyota Prius is still unattainable for now in pole position with 11,428 sales but is down 31% on February 2012. Based on a 17% hybrid ratio vs. 14% for the Toyota Camry, I estimate that the Ford Fusion takes the 2nd place this month thanks to 4,750 sales. The Ford C-Max continues to shine at #4 with 3,183 units just above the Toyota Prius C at 3,148 and the Toyota Prius V at 2,543. The Chevrolet Volt is up 59% to 1.626 sales while the Nissan Leaf is up 37% to 653 units and reclaims a spot in the Top 10.

Not sure if the numbers are up for that month, but its fair to assume Tesla delivered a thousand or so Model S (assuming their stated production of 400 cars a week)
