Iceland mid-February 2013: VW Polo and Kia Sportage dominate

Icelandic website Umferdastofa.is makes available the first February 2013 figures: half-way through the month, 240 new vehicles have found a buyer in Iceland. The VW Polo is in the lead with 20 sales and 8.3%, up from #25 in January and #3 over the FY2012. Iceland’s return to SUV love continues in this start of year: the Kia Sportage is up to #2 at 19 units and 7.9%, the Honda CR-V resists at #3 with 14 sales and 5.8%, the Chevrolet Captiva ranks #4 at 12 units and 5% while the Hyundai Santa Fe is back up 24 spots on last month to #6 with 8 sales and 3.3%. Notice also the Chevrolet Malibu at #16 and the Mercedes Citan at #30.
