Difficult year for new car sales in Slovenia, down 17% to 48,648 registrations. The Renault Clio is one again the most popular model in the country and celebrates its 15th consecutive year in the Slovenian pole position (no interruption since 1998 based on my estimations) with 2,898 sales and 6% share (-24%), getting a kick up to 8.4% in December thanks to the arrival of the 4th generation of the model. However in 2012 most Clio sales should still be delivered by the 2nd generation ‘Clio Campus’ produced locally.

Kia Rio
