While it may not seem like it given there has only been a couple of new posts in the last few days, I have been working really hard backstage, uploading loads of historical data for 12 countries. Given I backdate these historical posts so they appear in the right order in each country, you won’t see them on the home page, hence this update.

The Fiat Punto was #1 in Ireland from 1998 to 2000

I have uploaded all-new historical information for 12 countries: the most extensive being Spain from 1998 to 2009: you now have access to a Top 10 for each year with the MPV versions (Scenic, Xsara Picasso…) separated which is really rare data. And as a result some new info: the Renault Megane broke the 100,000 annual sales mark in 2004 and the Seat Ibiza became the country’s best-seller for the first time in 2006, not in 2009.

The Renault Megane II is the only model to have sold over 100,000 units in a single year in Spain

Other countries are Estonia from 2005 to 2009, Hungary from 2002 to 2009, Iceland from 2001 t 2009, Ireland from 1998 to 2006, Latvia from 2005 to 2009, Lithuania from 2006 to 2009, Luxembourg from 2001 to 2009, Norway for 1998, Poland for 2005 and 2006, Portugal from 1998 to 2007 and Switzerland from 1998 to 2004.
