Car sales in Slovenia are down 8% in July at 4,743 registrations, bringing the year-to-date total to 37,685 units, now perfectly stable vs. 2010.

Big event this month: the Renault Megane takes the lead for the first time in a while (possibly ever, if you know this for sure please get in touch!) with 259 sales and 5.5% market share, ahead of the Renault Clio at 231 units and 4.9%. The Megane is still #2 year-to-date though at 1,866 sales and 5% compared to 2,501 units and 6.6% for the Clio.

The VW Polo, VW Golf and Opel Astra follow and occupy exactly the same positions as in the 2011 year-to-date ranking. The Fiat Punto Evo confirms it is now back to its traditional level in Slovenia, up 1 spot on June to #6. Other great performers this month include the BMW 1 Series, up a massive 54 spots to #22 and the Alfa Romeo Giulietta, up 15 spots to #28.

Oh, je parle en anglais…mais j’avais oublié que tu comprenais le français ! ;)

D’accord pour le “69”, je n’avais pas fait attention.

    69 Citroën C5 in June and 32 in July…but only 89 in 2011 ?!

      Hi Max,
Thanks for your comment and for picking this up!
The figure ’69’ for June for the Citroen C5 in this month’s table is actually its position, not its sales volume. However you were right, the 2011 year-to-date was wrong anyway, it shouldn’t have been 89 but 143.
      All corrected now!
      cheers
      Matt
