Denmark July 2011: Peugeot 107 leads the way

Danish new car sales continue on their good run in July at 12,988 registrations, up 11%. The 2011 year-to-date figure is up 18% at 100,776 units. Similarly to neighbour Netherlands, the Peugeot 107 is up two spots to take the lead of the market with 482 sales and 3.7% share.

The Hyundai i30 also has a stellar month at #2 and 3.4% share, up 10 spots on June. The Opel Corsa, #1 last month, is down to #3 in July with 429 sales and 3.3%. 2011 leader with 3,952 sales and 3.9%, the Chevrolet Spark is up 3 spots to #4 this month, just above the VW Golf.

Ford C-Max

Great performers this month include the Ford C-Max up 38 spots to #8, the Peugeot 206+ up 23 spots to #6 and the Peugeot 308 up 29 spots to #14.

    I like your blog! Onfortunately, you made a little mistake. Danmark and the Netherlands aren’t neighnours…

      Hi Alfa,
      Denmark and Netherlands do not have a common border but they are very close to each other, which is why i called them neighbours :-)
      I drove from Netherlands to Denmark and it didn’t take long at all!!!
