France 21 to 27 June: Peugeot leads, 207 and 308 on podium
Strong week in France for car sales at 59,393 registrations, down only 3% on the same week last year. Peugeot leads the way again by a large margin with 12,515 sales (+4%) compared to 11,252 to Renault (-23%).
The Peugeot 207 is back to market shares it held a couple of years ago at 6.5% and 3,844 units, and the Peugeot 308 climbs back onto the podium at #3 with 2,482 sales and a strong 4.2% share. The Renault Clio is #2 at 5% and the Citroen C3 ranks 4th at 3.5% ahead of the Renault Megane.
