China LCV’s April 2011: Wuling Sunshine continues to dominate

Sales of Light Commercial Vehicles are down 9% year-on-year at 442,096, bringing the year-to-date total to 1,891,466 units (-2%). The Wuling Sunshine is the best seller for the 5th month in a row with 59,249 sales, down 7%. Its year-to-date figure stands at 262,663 units (-18%).
Like in March, the Foton Forland is #2 with 43,681 sales. It is #3 YTD with 149,278 units. In comparison, this April the Ford F-Series achieved 45,435 sales in the USA and the VW Golf sold 42,101 units in the whole of Europe!
