Poland March 2011: Skoda Octavia back on top, Opel Astra #2

The Polish car market is down 6% both in March at 27,293 registrations and year-to-date at 68,831 units. After being interrupted last month by its little sister the Skoda Fabia, the Skoda Octavia resumes its reign in Poland with 1,532 sales and 5.6% and holds the pole position over the 1st Quarter at 4,049 sales and 5.9%.

The Fabia drops to #3 at 985 sales and 3.6%, but is still #2 over Q1 at 4.4% share. The Opel Astra, #3 over Q1, has an excellent month in March in 2nd position with 1,054 sales and 3.9%. The Fiat Punto is stable in 4th place, followed by the Toyota Yaris and Opel Corsa.
