Very robust market in Lithuania over the period with 21,605 registrations in 2007 and 22,217 in 2008, up 3%. The Skoda Octavia is the best-selling model in the country both years with 1,162 sales in 2007 and 1,207 in 2008, staying at 5.4% market share both years.
The Opel Astra drops down to #2 in 2007 (701 units) then to #3 in 2008 (650 units), passed by the Nissan Qashqai landing directly at #2 in 2008 with 678 sales. Other successful models over the period include the VW Caddy #3 in 2007, the Fiat Panda #4 in 2008, the Honda Civic #4 in 2007 and the Toyota Avensis #5 both years.
