Thanks to Bill I can now share with you for the first time on BSCB new car sales information about Denmark for the eighties. Previous oldest data was for 1992, but there is now a Top 10 brands for 1983 and 1987. The Danish new car market progresses nicely over the period, going from 116,238 registrations in 1983 to 124,097 in 1987. Ford is in the lead in 1983 with 17,253 sales and 14.8%, potentially thanks to the Escort, but passes the relay to Opel at 17,955 units and 14.5% in 1987, possibly helped by the new generation Kadett.
