Singapore June 2026: BYD and Tesla on top, AvatR up

AvatR is up to #16 this month.

4,791 new cars found a buyer in Singapore in June, a 3.3% year-on-year improvement. The year-to-date tally halfway through the year is up 13.3% to 27,144. BYD (+21.5%) continues to dominate the brands charts and outpaces the market but at 21.3% share it is below its YTD level of 25.2%. Excellent showing by Tesla (+65.9%) at 16.3% share vs. 10.4% so far this year. The Chinese jump ahead, with Chery (+650%), Maxus (+481%), Deepal (+478.6%), Zeekr (+364.3%), Xpeng (+293.5%), Dongfeng (+148.3%) and MG (+116.5%) all positing surreal gains. Newcomer AvatR is up to a record #16.
