China imports February 2026: Toyota Land Cruiser, BMW 7 Series stand out, sales off -18.3%
Toyota Land Cruiser sales are up 52.6% in February in China.

Chinese imports implode in February at -18.3% to 26,492 units. This means the YTD tally is now down -16% to 71,603 after two months. Brand leader Lexus (-16.1%) drops significantly but stays a distant #1 ahead of Mercedes (-7.1%) holding up in context and BMW (-24.6%) struggling. The Top 14 brands are unchanged on January, with Suzuki (+48.8%), Jeep (+13%) and Bentley (+4.7%) the only ones in positive.
Model-wise, the Lexus ES (-12.1%) remains ultra dominant with almost 6,200 sales, distancing the Mercedes GLE (+5.8%), Lexus RX (-31.2%) and NX (-8.3%) like last month. The Toyota Land Cruiser (+52.6%) is the best performer near the top and ranks #5 year-to-date vs. #13 over the Full Year 2025. The BMW 7 Series (+70.9%), Porsche Cayenne (+18.1%) and Mercedes Maybach S-Class (+7.8%) also shine in the remainder of the Top 10.
