San Marino Full Year 2025: Suzuki places Vitara and Swift on top

San Marino is a landlocked microstate located on the northeastern part of Italy. It is home to 34,000 inhabitants. New car sales there drop -2.5% year-on-year to 966 units in 2025. Volkswagen (+0.6%) improves its market share to 16.3%, easily keeping the lead of the brands charts. Suzuki (-4.7%) overtakes a freefalling Audi (-21.4%) to grab the 2nd place overall with 12.7% share. Note the Top 3 carmakers account for 40.4% of the market this year. Renault (+72.4%) surges six spots to #4, equalling Skoda (stable) and distancing Mercedes (+25%) also in great shape. Tesla is up 277.8% to #8 and Fiat only ranks #11 despite San Marino being surrounded by Italy.

Model-wise, the Suzuki Vitara (+24.4%) stays in the lead with 5.3% of the market, distancing the Suzuki Swift (+32.4%) up two spots to #2. The VW T-Roc (+10.8%) completes the podium ahead of the VW Golf (+32%), Audi A3 (-11.4%) and VW Tiguan (+34.8%). The Tesla Model 3 is up 187.5% to #8 and the Dacia Sandero up 31.3% to #10.
