Iraq Full Year 2025: Kia and Frontier reclaim lead off Toyota and Hilux

Stable new vehicle market in Iraq in 2025 at -0.4% to 160,737 units. Kia (+19.1%) soars to 28% share and reclaims the top spot it held up to 2022. Toyota (-29.6%) sinks and drops to 2nd place with 20.7% share vs. 29.3% last year. Nissan (+610.2%) is the success story of the year, up 7-fold and 9 spots to land on the third step of the podium. MG (+7.5%) stays at #4 ahead of Hyundai (-37.3%) in complete freefall at #5. Jetour (+55.6%) surges but only manages to remain in 6th position. Below, notice Ford (+48.8%), GMC (+26.8%) and Lexus (+21.7%) all posting fantastic scores. Soueast lands at #18.

Looking at the models charts, the Kia Frontier (+25.6%) is back to #1 after its 10 years of reign being interrupted in 2024 and improves its share from 8.8% to 11.1%. The Toyota Hilux (-23%) is in freefall and drops to #2 with 8.7% of the market vs. 11.2% in 2024. The Kia Sorento (+26.2%) is up one spot to #3, distancing the performer of the year, the Nissan Sunny (+2568.1%) up 60 ranks to #4. The Kia Sportage (+34.9%) brilliantly rounds out the Top 5 while the GMC Yukon (+19%) breaks into the Top 10 at #9.
