Slovenia Full Year 2025: Renault Clio, Skoda Octavia and Renault Captur on top

57,557 new cars hit Slovenian roads in 2025, a sturdy 8.6% year-on-year improvement. Volkswagen (+10.8%) remains the most popular carmaker in the country and advances to 15.2% share. Skoda (+12.6%) overtakes Renault (-0.4%) for 2nd place with 10.8% share vs. 10.2%. Hyundai (+18.4%) is up two spots to #4 ahead of Toyota (-5.6%) in difficulty at #5. Ford (+57.9%) surges five ranks to #6 and is the only additional Top 10 member to beat the market: Audi (+4.5%) and Kia (+3.2%) edge up while Peugeot (-13.9%) and Dacia (-11.7%) sink. Further down, notice Forthing (+330.3%), MG (+32.4%) and Mercedes (+22.5%) all posting sensational gains.

In the models aisle, the Renault Clio (+6.4%) remains at #1, marking a 27th win in the past 29 years for the nameplate in Slovenia. The Skoda Octavia (+13.6%) is far below at 3.4% share vs. 4.2% for the Clio. The Renault Captur (+9.5%) is also solid and ensures the podium is unchanged on 2024. Skoda holds the next two spots with the Kamiq (+15.5%) up three ranks to #4 and the Kodiaq (+1.4%) down one to #5. The VW T-Roc (+31.6%) slices its 2024 ranking in two at #7, with the VW Tiguan (+16.8%) and Hyundai Tucson (+14.7%) also very dynamic. The Forthing T5 Evo (+354.8%) is up to #19 and peaked at #3 in July.
