Pakistan Full Year 2025: Suzuki Alto celebrates 6 straight years at #1, sales up 40.5%

According to local association PAMA, sales of locally produced light vehicles continue to gear up in 2025 at a spectacular +40.5% to 175,669 units. We are still far off the record 254,958 sales hit in 2018 and way below the 227,392 sales of 2022. Suzuki (+26.4%) trails the market but still holds an ultra dominant 46.2% share at #1. Toyota (+58.6%) and Honda (+50.9%) both improve their share to 23.6% and 13.2% respectively while Sazgar Haval (+67.5%) overtakes Hyundai (+38.8%) to #4. Note Changan and other Chinese manufacturers such as MG do not share sales data with PAMA but are reported to be quite successful here.
Model-wise, the Suzuki Alto (+21.2%) sees its share reduce from a record 33.6% to 29% but still dominates the charts head and shoulders. This is the 6th year in a row that the Alto is #1 in Pakistan. The podium is unchanged on 2024 with the Toyota Corolla (+55.3%) estimated at #2 and Sazgar Haval H6 (+67.5%) in tow. The Suzuki Swift (+80.6%) is up two spots to #4 ahead of the Toyota Yaris (+55.2%) estimated at #5 and the Honda Civic (+45.8%) estimated at #6. Notice also the Suzuki Every (+505.7%) up to #9 for its first full year in market.
