Albania Full Year 2025: BYD monopolises Top 5, topped 50% share in November, Seagull #1

The BYD Seagull holds 8.3% of the Albanian market in 2025.

Since March 2025 and thanks to CE Auto we have been able to share with you exclusive sales data for Albania. Now there is a Full Year update for the first time in BSCB history. The total volume stands at 8,547 units, up 27% on 2024. As the year has gone by, Chinese behemoth BYD has tightened its grip on the market, reaching over 50% share in November and 49% in December. The carmaker even monopolises the Top 5 in the Full Year charts. New data shows BYD up 531.4% year-on-year to a suffocating 40% share over the calendar year 2025. Volkswagen (+9%) is toppled to 2nd place and sees its share drop from 22.6% to 19.4%. Skoda (-3%) and Fiat (-35%) are below and both struggle.

The BYD Seagull ends the year at #1 with 8.3% share and peaked at 12.5% in July. The Song Plus ranks #2 and was #1 in August. It is followed by the Sealion 7, #1 in December with 15.3% share, the Yuan Plus, #1 in September, and the Yuan Up, #1 in November. The VW ID.4 is the best of the rest at #6, while the Fiat Tipo was #1 in April with 23.1% share but hasn’t sold anything since August. The Dacia Sandero rounds out the Top 10 and topped the charts in June. Notice also the Renault Koleos #1 in May with 11.5% share but failing to reach the annual Top 10.
