Singapore October 2025: BYD reaches record 26.5% share, beats Toyota 2 to 1

BYD holds 26.5% of the Singaporean market vs. 12.9% for Toyota.

3,956 new cars found a buyer in Singapore in October, a solid 16.1% year-on-year uptick. The year-to-date tally is now up 23.3% to 41,893. BYD (+105.1%) more than doubles its sales year-on-year to reach a record 26.5% share, now selling twice as much as the #2, Toyota (-26.2%) in great difficulty this month. Honda (+36.4%) overtakes BMW (-27.7%) for third place while Mercedes (-19%) also struggles. Tesla (+341%), Zeekr (+318.5%) and Chery (+566.7%) all post surreal gains, with Zeekr repeating at a record 7th place.
