Poland October 2025: Skoda Octavia #1, MG HS up to #6 in market up 9.6%

MG HS sales are up 72.5% year-on-year in October.

52,730 new passenger cars found a buyer in Poland in October, a solid 9.6% year-on-year improvement. The year-to-date volume is now up 7.6% to 480,621. Toyota (-14%) stays on top of the brands ranking but it underperforms and at 14.6% it is well below the 15.9% it holds year-to-date. In contrast Skoda (+30.3%) soars to 11.9% vs. 10.8% so far this year. Volkswagen (+3.6%) remains in third place while BMW (+18.2%) climbs to a record #4 also hit in December 2022, March 2024, April 2025 and May 2025. Audi (+11.7%) is the only remaining Top 10 member to beat the market just as Hyundai (-19.9%) freefalls, Mercedes (+8.4%) is relatively solid and Dacia (+0.6%) is stable. MG (+138.9%) advances to a best ever #11, also reached last August.

Over in the models charts, the Skoda Octavia (+66%) storms into first place for the first time since May 2024, overtaking the YTD leader, the Toyota Corolla (-12.2%) in difficulty. The Kia Sportage (+0.9%) rounds out the podium like last month, distancing the Toyota Yaris Cross (-9.9%) and RAV4 (+47.4%). The hero of the month is once again the MG HS (+72.5%): after breaking into the Top 10 for the first time in September, it jumps to 6th place with 2% share in October. Below, the Toyota C-HR (-45.5%),  Yaris (-37.1%) and Hyundai Tucson (-16.9%) suffer.
