Morocco October 2025: Annual volume record already broken
Soueast already holds 1% of the Moroccan market in October.
19,561 new Passenger Cars and Light Commercials hit Moroccan roads in October, a splendid 30.4% year-on-year gain. This is the 10th consecutive month at at least +20% and it already leads to an annual record at 186,415 units, even though there are still two months left to complete the year. The previous annual record was reached in 2018 (177,359). In the detail, Passenger cars are up 32.6% to 17,208 while Light commercials gain 15.8% to 2,353. In the Passenger Cars brands ranking, both Dacia (+42.8%) and Renault (+59.5%) beat the market to 23.6% and 15.1% share respectively while Peugeot (+23.1%) overtakes Volkswagen (+14.5%) for #3 with Hyundai (-6.4%) struggling but rounding out the Top 5. Skoda (+79.6%) and Toyota (+75.5%) shine just as BYD (+316.9%) ends the month just outside the Top 10 at #11. Revived Soueast (under Chery ownership) already reaches 1% share at #19.
