Luxembourg October 2025: Opel (+101.4%), Ford (+44.4%) stand out in disappointing market

Opel sales more than double year-on-year in October.

It’s a disappointing month for new car sales in Luxembourg, off -9% year-on-year in October to 3,801 units. A good start of the year maintains the YTD volume in positive at +0.6% to 40,295. Volkswagen (+2.5%) is back to the brands pole position with 13.9% share, well above the 11.9% it commands YTD. Mercedes (-3.7%) drops to #2 with 9.6% ahead of a struggling BMW (-29.6%). Skoda (+5.8%) and Audi (-7.3%) exchange positions vs. last month to #4 and #5 respectively. Opel (+101.4%), Ford (+44.4%) and  Mini (+16.7%) post the biggest gains in the Top 10 while below, MG (+115.4%), Citroen (+103.6%) and Ferrari (+42.9%) stand out.
