Greece October 2025: Opel Frontera breaks into Top 10

First Greek Top 10 finish for the Opel Frontera.

Another outstanding month for new car sales in Greece, up 11.3% year-on-year in October to 10,763 units. This brings the year-to-date volume up 4.5% to 122,995. Toyota (+5.3%) remains ultra dominant at #1 with 17.3% share vs. 15.6% so far this year, this month distancing Peugeot (+17.5%) and Suzuki (+1.1%). Hyundai (+22.8%) drops one spot on September to #4 whereas Opel (+129.1%) is up four to #5. Dacia (+76.2%) is also in excellent shape at #6 and 5.3% share vs. #10 and 3.7% YTD, but the best performer is Citroen (+502.2%) up six-fold on a paltry year-ago result. Renault (+65.7%) also shines in the remainder of the Top 10.

In the models charts, the Toyota Yaris Cross (+15.6%) easily retains the top spot ahead of the Peugeot 2008 (+21.4%) and Toyota C-HR (+38.3%). The Yaris (-8.2%) makes it three Toyotas in the Top 4 while the Suzuki Vitara (-4.5%) rounds out the Top 5 like last month and YTD. Very strong performances below by the Opel Mokka (+229.4%), Dacia Sandero (+109.2%) and Suzuki Swift (+89.2%). The new Opel Frontera is up 14 spots on September to crack the Greek Top 10 for the first time at #9 with the Citroen C3 (+1945.5%) spectacularly closing the Top 10. Notice also the MG ZS Max (+565%), Fiat Panda (+241.3%) and Peugeot 3008 (+121.8%) scoring stellar upticks further down.
