Denmark October 2025: Skoda Elroq and Enyaq on top, Mazda 6e in Top 10
The Mazda6e breaks into the Top 10 for its third month of sales.
16,156 new cars found a Danish home in October, a solid 12.1% year-on-year lift. The year-to-date tally is now up 6.8% to 150,253. Brand leaders Volkswagen (+46.1%) and Skoda (+53.7%) both surge to 16.6% and 14.5% share respectively vs. 16.2% and 10.7% through October. Audi (+18.1%) and Mercedes (+21.5%) also outrun the market above a struggling BMW (-1.6%) rounding out the Top 5. Cupra (+107.8%) and Renault (+77.8%) deliver the biggest gains in the Top 10 with Peugeot (+44.2%) and Hyundai (+36.9%) also very strong. Citroen (+149.7%) and Mazda (+112.7%) do even better below, with newcomers Zeekr (#22) and Navor (#24) progressing vs. last month.
Over in the models ranking, Skoda manages a stunning 1-2 for what we believe is the first time in Danish history. At 7.5% of the market the Elroq manages its best share since last June and its 6th monthly win of the year. The Enyaq for its part is off a daunting -17.5% on a particularly strong year-ago result when it ranked #1 overall. The VW ID.4 (+32%) is back up to #3 above the Audi Q4 e-tron (+3.3%) up 10 spots on last month to #4. The next three vehicles are VWs, making the Top 7 100% VW Group: the ID.Buzz (+800%), ID.3 (+14.2%) and ID.7 (+6.5%). The Peugeot 208 (+200.9%) rallies back up 40 ranks on September to #8 vs. #57 so far this year. Meanwhile the new Mazda6e breaks into the Top 10 at #9 for its third month in market.
