UK nations September 2025: Jaecoo 7 in Top 10 of 3 nations again, BYD Seal U #5 in England

The Jaecoo 7 is inside the Top 10 in England, Scotland and Wales.

Thanks to SMMT we can share with you the Top 10 best-sellers for each UK nation in September. Keep in mind this is a zoom in by nation, all sales figures are already included in the September 2025 UK update. This month Scotland is the most dynamic nation at +18.2% to 29,970, with England up 13.7% to 267,789 and Wales up 8.1% to 10,432 but Northern Ireland down -3.8% to 4,442. Year-to-date, England performs best at +5.1% to 1,352,182 followed by Scotland at +2.9% to 136,390 but Wales (-3.9% to 50,970) and Northern Ireland (-8.2% to 35,965) are both in negative.

Podium finishers are as follows: the Kia Sportage is #1 in England and Northern Ireland and #2 in Scotland and Wales, the Vauxhall Corsa is #1 in Scotland, the Ford Puma #1 in Wales, #2 in England and Northern Ireland, the Nissan Qashqai #3 in England and Northern Ireland, the Jaecoo 7 #3 in Scotland, #4 in England and #8 in Wales and the MG HS #3 in Wales.

Other great performers include the MG 3 #4 in Scotland, Nissan Juke #4 in Northern Ireland, Toyota Aygo X #4 in Wales, BYD Seal U #5 in England, Volvo XC40 #5 in Scotland, Hyundai Kona #5 in Northern Ireland, Renault Clio #7 in Scotland and the Tesla Model Y #9 in England.
