Kuwait January-September 2025: Toyota Land Cruiser, Nissan Patrol and Jetour T2 on top
The Jetour T2 is the third best selling vehicle in Kuwait so far in 2025.
New car sales in Kuwait climb 13.3% year-on-year over the first 9 months of 2025 to 108,262. Brand leader Toyota (+17.4%) outpaces the market to improve to 29% share vs. 28% a year ago, with Nissan (+24.8%) and Mitsubishi (+37.6%) doing even better on the podium. Ford (+1.3%) and Kia (-2.2%) are more subdued and round out the Top 5. Chevrolet (+13.8%) is in line with the market while Jetour (+70.4%) delivers the best performance in the Top 10, soaring to #7 vs. #13 a year ago. Fellow Chinese Haval (+660.8%) and Tank (+341.8%) surge.
Model-wise, the Toyota Land Cruiser (+61.3%) soars to 8.4% share vs. 5.9% over the same period in 2024, strengthening its hold on the charts. The Nissan Patrol (+25.6%) is up two spots to #2 while the Jetour T2 (+100.8%) leaps up 9 ranks to #3. The Toyota Prado (+21.1%) is down one to #4 and the Ford Territory (-9.6%) down three to #5. The Kia Sportage (+71.3%) and Nissan Sunny (+20.8%) both beat the market in the remainder of the Top 10 with the Toyota Hilux (+12.8%) almost matching it but the Toyota Corolla (+7.2%) and Camry (-5.4%) underperforming.
