Bahrain January-September 2025: Jetour and T2 up to #3
The Jetour T2 is the third best-selling vehicle in Bahrain through September.
The Bahraini new light vehicle market advances 10.9% year-on-year through September to 27,074 sales. Toyota (+7.8%) trails the overall growth but remains out of reach at 31% share vs. 31.6% a year ago. Nissan (-10.6%) is in difficulty at 7.6% share vs. 9.4% last year but Jetour (+227.5%) is the best performer here, climbing from #14 and 2.3% share a year ago to #3 and 6.9% now. Lexus (+29.5%) also impresses at #4, distancing MG (+3.6%) and Isuzu (+6.7%) both more discreet. Hyundai (-39.2%) is in freefall at #7 vs. #3 a year ago. Notice also Haval (+67%), Suzuki (+51.2%), Mitsubishi (+26.8%) and Ford (+20.9%) all in excellent shape.
Over in the models charts, the Toyota Land Cruiser (+58.1%) cements its dominance with 7.3% of the market vs. 5.1% last year. The Toyota Hilux (+0.3%) is stable and stays in 2nd place while the Jetour T2 (+348.4%) surges from #22 directly to #3. The Nissan Sunny (-7.9%) and Isuzu D-Max (+8.5%) complete the Top 5. Outstanding scores for the Ford Territory (+41.2%) and Lexus ES (+45%) below.
