The Renault Group is also strong at +8.8% ahead of Hyundai-Kia (-2.3%). The BMW Group (+11.6%) and Ford Motor (+11.6%) also shine. Brand-wise, Volkswagen (+13.8%) is strong in pole position, followed by sister brand Skoda shooting up 30.5% to reach a record 2nd place for the second time ever after last May. Toyota (-3.8%) is relegated to third place ahead of BMW (+6.5%) and Dacia (+13.6%) up to a record 5th rank also reached in January 2023 according to ACEA numbers (but not JATO). German sales represent 46% of its July total. The Sandero remains by far the YTD best-seller despite a -11% YoY fall. The Dacia Bigster (#26) is the best-selling recent launch ahead of the Skoda Elroq (#31), VW Tayron (#59) and Kia EV3 (#60).
