Bulgaria August 2025: Toyota Corolla leads, Citroen C3 Aircross up to #4, market up 18.5%
The Citroen C3 Aircross is up to #4 in Bulgaria in August.
New light vehicle sales in Bulgaria shoot up 18.5% year-on-year in August to 4,132 units, leading to a year-to-date volume up 4.1% to 36,054. Toyota (+38.9%) and Dacia (+41.6%) top the brands charts with excellent showings to 11.8% and 10% share respectively. In third place Skoda (-19.8%) struggles to 9.5% of the market vs. 11.4% so far the year where it is still #1 for now. Volkswagen (+81.7%) manages a fantastic YoY gain but stays in 4th position ahead of Renault (+4.7%). Citroen (+109%), BMW (+37.4%), Hyundai (+27.7%) and Kia (+27%) also beat the market in the remainder of the Top 10 whereas Ford (-26.4%) suffers.
Model-wise, this month the Toyota Corolla (+10.2%) is the best-seller, knocking out the Dacia Duster (+30%) wit the Dacia Sandero (+35.8%) staying in third place. The Citroen C3 Aircross (+3966.7%) is the performer of the month, up a further four spots on July to land at #4 vs #27 YTD thanks to the new generation. The Skoda Octavia (+6.3%) rounds out the Top 5 ahead of the Toyota RAV4 (+172.1%) and VW T-Roc (+356%) both in outstanding shape. The Dacia Jogger (+100%) also shines at #10. The Dacia Bigster is the best-selling recent launch at #29 above the Opel Frontera at #40.
