Moldova July 2025: Kia Sportage #1, Jetour X50 breaks into Top 10
First Top 10 finish in Moldova for the Jetour X50.
Data by our Central European partner CE Auto shows a Moldovan new car market up a solid 8.9% year-on-year in July to 1,013 units, leading to a year-to-date volume up 7.5% to 5,723. The Kia Sportage (+48.6%) confirms it is the new favourite of Moldovan car buyers with 5.4% vs. 5% so far this year. The Dacia Duster (-26.6%) follows in 2nd place ahead of the Hyundai Tucson (+104.8%) and Toyota RAV4 (-32.8%). The Skoda Kodiaq (-12.8%) is also in difficulty and rounds out the Top 5. First Top 10 finish for the Jetour X50 at #8 while the BYD Song Plus repeats at #9, making the Top 9 entirely composed of SUVs.
