Kuwait H1 2025: Toyota Land Cruiser soars, Jetour T2 on podium
The Jetour T2 climbs onto the Kuwaiti podium.
The Kuwaiti new vehicle market is up 7.9% year-on-year over the First Half 2025 to 68,881 units. Toyota (+25.8%) remains ultra dominant, even improving its share to an overwhelming 31% vs. 26.6% a year ago. Nissan (+12.3%) is up to 9.1% share in 2nd place while Ford (+6.1%) stays in third place with 6.7% of the market. Mitsubishi (+9.5%) is up two spots to #4 while Kia (-10%) is down one to #5. Outstanding performance from Jetour, up 80.1% to #7 vs. #13 a year ago. Notice also Mazda (+394.6%), Tank (+129.5%), GMC (+31.3%) and Suzuki (+19.9%) all in great shape below.
Over in the models aisle, the Toyota Land Cruiser SW (+81.1%) surges ahead to tighten its grip on the charts at 9.3% share. The Toyota Prado (+52.7%) also shines at #2 vs. #5 a year ago. The most impressive performance is delivered by the Jetour T2 (+140.8%) soaring to third place overall. The Nissan Patrol (-4.8%) and Ford Territory (-0.6%) are both weak and round out the Top 5. Toyota places a further three models inside the Top 10: the Corolla (+65.2%), Camry (+5.3%) and Hilux (+1.1%). The Kia Sportage (+48.7%) rounds out the Top 10 in spectacular fashion.
