Denmark June 2025: Skoda Elroq up to 8.8% share
The Skoda Elroq is the most popular vehicle in Denmark over H1 2025.
19,046 new cars found a buyer in Denmark in June, a small -2.5% contraction. The year-to-date tally halfway through the year is now up 3.7% to 89,554. Volkswagen (+30.9%) soars year-on-year to 15.6% share but sister brand Skoda (+170.6%) does even better at #2 with 12.3% of the market vs. 9.3% so far this year. The Czech brand also ranks #2 year-to-date vs. #7 over the Full Year 2024. Tesla (-61.6%) is in complete freefall at #3 ahead of BMW (+23.7%) and Cupra (+73.2%) both lodging fantastic gains, the latter breaking its monthly volume record at 1,268. Ford (+110%) and Renault (+48.6%) also make themselves noticed in the remainder of the Top 10. New launch Navor, selling DFSK models, is up to #17 with 1.4% share
Model-wise, the new Skoda Elroq confirms its status of instant blockbuster, advancing to a record 8.8% share, having only launched last January. The Elroq is now also #1 year-to-date. The Tesla Model Y (-31.2%) is in difficulty but still manages a 2nd place overall. I ranks #3 over H1. The VW T-Roc (+41.9%) shines at #3 whereas the VW ID.4 (-28.4%) skids down to #4 and falls to #2 YTD. The Cupra Formentor (+64.7%) scores a stellar result at #5, the nameplate’s highest ranking since July 2023 when it also placed at #5. The VW ID.3 (+195.9%) and ID.Buzz (+4408.3%) also roar up, while the new Renault 5 delivers a second straight Top 10 finish at #8. The new Navor E5 is up to #13.
