Moldova May 2025: Dacia Duster back to #1 YTD

The Dacia Duster is now #1 year-to-date in Moldova.

According to our local partner CE Auto, new car sales in Moldova gain 9.1% year-on-year in May to 961. This way, the year-to-date volume is up 5.8% to 3,804. The Dacia Duster (-11.1%) is back in charge both for the month and year-to-date, despite a lukewarm year-on-year performance. Leader last month, the Toyota RAV4 (-16.7%) is down to #2, distancing the Hyundai Tucson and Kia Sportage (-5%). The Dacia Logan (-30%) at #5 and Renault Express (+62.5%) at #8 are the only non-SUVs in the Top 10. Notice the Toyota Prado up to equal #9 for its second Top 10 finish of the year (add #10 in January).
