UAE Q1 2025: Nissan Patrol and Toyota Hilux best-sellers
The Nissan Patrol is the best-selling vehicle in the UAE.
81,054 new vehicles found a buyer in the United Arab Emirates over the first quarter of 2025, a 7.1% year-on-year improvement. The Top 3 manufacturers stay unchanged and all trail the market: Toyota (+1.3%) holds 23% share ahead of Nissan (-2.1%) at 15.3% and Mitsubishi (+4.1%) at 7.3%. The performer of the period is, as is the case for most Middle Eastern countries, Jetour, up 149.7% to #4 overall vs. #15 over Q1 2024. MG (+19.3%) rallies back up to #5 above Ford (+11.5%) and Kia (+0.3%). BMW/Mini, now sharing aggregate sales data, lands at #8 with 3.5% of the market. Notice also GMC (+89.9%), Geely (+31.1%) and Tesla (+26.7%) posting excellent scores.
The models charts is completely reshuffled with the Nissan Patrol (+39.9%) in the lead, distancing the Toyota Hilux (+52.3%) and Land Cruiser SW (+35.7%). The Jetour T2 (+296.1%) surges to #4 with the Nissan X-Trail (+50.4%) also very dynamic at #5. Mediocre result for the Nissan Sunny (-56.6%), #1 a year ago and down to #6 now. The Land Rover Defender (+61.8%) is up 9 spots to #8 while the Tesla Model 3 (+131.6%) is up 32 to #9. The Nissan Kicks (+27.5%) rounds out the Top 10.
