Moldova April 2025: Toyota RAV4 on top, sales up 9.4%
The Toyota RAV4 is the best-selling vehicle in Moldova in April.
Data by our Central European market data partner CE Auto has the Moldovan new car market up 9.4% year-on-year in April to 892, a strong result given April 2024 was already up 28.3% on the year prior. The year-to-date volume is up 4.9% to 2,843. This month the Toyota RAV4 (+14.6%) is the best-seller, lodging its first win since June 2024. The Dacia Logan (+152.9%) surges ahead to reappear inside the Top 10 directly at #2. It is up to #5 year-to-date vs. #6 over the Full Year 2024. The Kia Sportage (-18%) suffers but not as much as the Dacia Duster (-60.6%) resulting in the Korean overtaking the Romanian for 2nd place year-to-date. The Skoda Kodiaq (-29.7%) is also in a precarious situation but holds onto the YTD pole position for just two units. The Suzuki S-Cross (+71.4%) and Toyota Yaris Cross (+20%) also shine while the Jetour T2 manages a third consecutive month inside the Top 10 at #10. Note there are 9 SUVs in the Top 10.
