Lebanon Q1 2025: Toyota Hilux takes charge, Suzuki Jimny up to #4 in devastated market
The Suzuki Jimny is up 25-fold over Q1.
It’s a mediocre start of the year for new vehicle sales in Lebanon, collapsing -40.5% to just 3,903 units. Toyota (-54.6%) falls ever harder and see its market share thaw from 40.8% to 31%. Former #2 Nissan is off -91.4% to #5. Mitsubishi (-15.5%) ascends to #3 while Suzuki (+277.1%) and Kia (+66.7%) completely defy the depleted market to rank #3 and #4 respectively. Renault (+156.3%) and Jetour (+706.3%) also ignore the surrounding gloom and step up to #6 and #7.
Over in the models charts, the Toyota Hilux (-6.8%) takes charge with 11.2% share, toppling perennial leader the Toyota Land Cruiser (-84.5%). The next 15 models are all in frank positive. The Mitsubishi L200 (+194.2%), Suzuki Jimny (+2433.3%) and Toyota Raize (+75%) round out the Top 5. The Infiniti QX80 makes a striking appearance inside the Top 10 at #8, while the Jetour T2 also breaks into the Top 10 at #9. The Renault Duster reappears at #10.
