Greece April 2025: Peugeot 2008 and Fiat Panda top solid market
The Peugeot 2008 is the best-selling vehicle in Greece so far this year.
It’s a second consecutive positive month for the Greek new car market at a solid +9% year-on-year in April to 14,649 units. Due to a difficult start of the year, the YTD tally remains in negative for now at -4.5% to 47,845. Toyota (-14.5%) can’t benefit from the market growth but still remain in the brands lead by far at 14.8% share. Peugeot (-1%), Suzuki (-11.2%) and Hyundai (-4%) are also in negative below. But Kia (+111%), BMW (+92.2%), Fiat (+37.4%) and Volkswagen (+22.8%) all post sensational gains. Notice also BYD up 731.6% to #21.
Over in the models charts, the Peugeot 2008 (+27.1%) reclaims the top spot with 5.1% share vs. 5.7% so far this year. The Fiat Panda (+88.3%) surges up 7 spots on last month to #2 overall with the Toyota Yaris (+6.5%) rounding out the podium. The Toyota Yaris Cross (+7.3%) and last month’s leader the Citroen C3 (+88.4%) follow. Outstanding performance by the Kia Picanto (+279.4%) up to #6 and now inside the YTD Top 10 vs. #20 over the Full Year 2024. The VW T-Cross (+230.8%), Suzuki Swift (+162.8%) and Renault Clio (+52%) also shine below.
