Croatia April 2025: Strongest month in 6 years, Renault dominates again
8,982 new cars hit Croatian roads in April, a fantastic 31.1% year-on-year surge. This is the largest monthly result since May 2019 (9,149). The year-to-date volume is now in frank positive, up 7.4% to 23,947. Renault (+72.6%) is on a roll again, improving its share further to 16%, its highest since June 2020 (16.1%). The French manufacturer is now up to #2 year-to-date. Skoda (-1.4%) is beaten whereas Volkswagen (+39.3%) and Dacia (+61.8%) both outrun the galloping market. Suzuki (+1.9%) is weak and rounds out the Top 5. Ford (+98.3%), Mercedes (+96.6%), Volvo (+90.4%), BMW (+73%) and Audi (+57%) shine below.
Over in the models lane, the Renault Clio (+50.7%) repeats at #1 and now ranks #2 year-to-date. This month it is followed by the Renault Captur (+140.1%) and Skoda Octavia (-19.3%). The VW T-Cross (+143.8%) and Dacia Duster (+99.4%) also impress. The Ford Kuga (+10450%) is up on a freakishly low year-ago result and climbs to #8. Notice also the Suzuki Swift (+322.2%), Skoda Kodiaq (+230%), Dacia Sandero (+116.7%) and VW Tiguan (+79.8%).
