UK nations March 2025: Renault Clio #1 in Northern Ireland

The Renault Clio is the best-selling vehicle in Northern Ireland in March.

Thanks to SMMT we can share with you the Top 10 best-sellers for each UK nation in March. Keep in mind this is a zoom in by nation, all sales figures are already included in the March 2025 UK update. England (+13.5%) pulls the entire market up this month with 310,319 units, with Wales (+6.3% to 11,597), Scotland (+5.5% to 28,884) and Northern Ireland (+2.1% to 5,982) a lot more discreet. Year-to-date, here too England is the most dynamic at +7.5% to 499,950 with Scotland (+2.1% to 46,934) the only additional nation in positive. Indeed Wales (-1.3% to 18,541) and Northern Ireland (-2.9% to 14,318) both recede.

Podium finishers are as follows. The Ford Puma is #1 in England and Wales and #3 in Northern Ireland, the Renault Clio is #1 in Northern Ireland, the Vauxhall Corsa #1 in Scotland, the Kia Sportage #2 in England, the Vauxhall Mokka #2 in Northern Ireland and Scotland, the MG HS #2 in Wales, the Nissan Qashqai #3 in England, the Nissan Juke #3 in Scotland and the Toyota Yaris #3 in Wales.

Other great performers include the VW Golf #4 in England, the Peugeot 208 #4 in Scotland, MG HS #5 in England, Ford Kuga #6 in England, Volvo XC40 #7 in Wales, Toyota Aygo X #9 in Wales, Hyundai Tucson #9 in England, Dacia Sandero #10 in Northern Ireland and Peugeot 2008 #10 in Scotland and Wales.
