Uzbekistan January-February 2025: Chevrolet holds 82.4% share

The Chevrolet Cobalt holds 40.6% of the Uzbek market so far in 2025.

For the first time since 2018 we can share with you today rare data for Uzbekistan. Over the first two months of 2025, 50,373 new light vehicles found a buyer in the country. Local producer Chevrolet suffocates the market with 82.4% share, and the rest of the brands present in Uzbekistan collect crumbs. Kia is the best of the rest at 7.3% share ahead of BYD at 5.7% and Chery at 2.2%. Notice the (very discreet) presence of the Sino-German brand Jetta.

Chevrolet trusts the first four spots in the models ranking, with the Cobalt the overall winner at over 40% share ahead of the tiny Damas at 23.9%. The Tracker and Labo follow. The Kia Sonet manages a 5th place while the Chinese places four models inside the Top 10 including the BYD Song Plus, BYD Chazor aka Destroyer 05 and Chery Tiggo 7 Pro.
