Guadeloupe (France) Full Year 2024: Peugeot overtakes Renault, registrations off -7.2%
The Peugeot 208 is the best-selling vehicle in Guadeloupe in 2024.
The Guadeloupe (an overseas French territory in the Caribbean) new light vehicle market is off -7.2% in 2024 to 15,873 units. H1 volumes were down -1.2% while H2 was down -11.5%. This year Peugeot (-5.2%) passes Renault (-12.6%) to secure the brands pole position with 14.5% share vs. 13.7%. Citroen (-31.3%) and Dacia (-20.2%) are both in freefall but camp on their 2023 positions at #3 and #4. Toyota (+8.8%) is the only gainer in the Top 10 alongside Suzuki jumping from outside the 2023 ten best-sellers directly into #7.
We only have access to a Top 10 models ranking over the first 9 months 2024, when the market fell 3.6% to 10,618. Over the period, the Peugeot 208 leads the way above the Citroen C3, Peugeot 2008 and Renault Clio. Dacia places the Duster at #5 and the Sandero at #6. The Suzuki Ignis ranks at #8 and the Nissan Juke at #9.
