Colombia January 2025: Renault Kardian up to #2
The Renault Kardian breaks its Colombian ranking record this month.
The Colombian new car market rallies back up 24.3% to 14,396 units. However let’s keep in mind January 2024 was a particularly low reference base, marking the weakest January in 26 years. In the models charts, the Toyota Corolla Cross (+45.1%) soars to first place, its 6th win in the past 12 months. The hero of the month is the new Renault Kardian surging to a record 2nd position, smashing its previous best of #8 established last August for its first full month of sales. The Renault Duster (-5.1%), Kia Picanto (-34.5%) and Mazda CX-30 (-7.2%) all underperform and round out the Top 5. Outstanding scores by the Hyundai Tucson (+303.6%), Renault Logan (+227.8%), Nissan Kicks (+199.1%), Mazda2 (+131.4%) and Ford Ranger (+114.3%). The BYD Yuan Up shines again at #14.
