UK nations January 2025: Peugeot 3008 #2 in two nations

The Peugeot 3008 is inside the Top 10 of every UK nation in January

Thanks to SMMT we can share with you detailed sales data by model for each UK nation. Remember this is a zoom in by nation and all figures are already included in our January UK post. Scotland (+0.9%) is the only nation in positive this month, just, at 12,216 sales. England drops -2.2% to 117,441 but Northern Ireland (-6.9% to 4,841) and Wales (-11.3% to 4,621) are hit hard.

Podium finishers are as follows: the Kia Sportage #1 in Northern Ireland and Wales and #2 in England and Scotland, the Nissan Qashqai #1 in England (unlike in the UK overall) and #3 in Northern Ireland and Wales, the Vauxhall Corsa #1 in Scotland and #3 in England, the Peugeot 3008 #2 in Northern Ireland and Wales, #5 in England and #7 in Scotland and the VW Golf #3 in Scotland

Other great performers include the Peugeot 2008 #4 in England vs. #6 in the UK, #4 in Wales and #7 in Northern Ireland, the Peugeot 208 #4 in Scotland, the VW T-Roc #4 in Northern Ireland and #10 in Scotland, the Vauxhall Mokka #5 in Scotland, the Kia Picanto #6 in Wales and the VW Tiguan #8 in Scotland. Notice also the Ford Puma’s best ranking being a lowly #8 in England.
