Moldova January 2025: Skoda Kodiaq #1, BYD Song Plus #2
The BYD Song Plus is the 2nd best-selling car in Moldova in January.
CE Auto data shows a Moldovan new car market up 16.2% year-on-year in January to 589 sales. The Skoda Kodiaq (+100%) snaps the top spot for the first time since June 2023, but the big event is in 2nd place where we find the BYD Song Plus, up from #8 in December, its only other Top 10 month. The Song Plus is also known as the Seal U or Sealion 6. The Kia Sportage (-12.1%) is equal #2 ahead of last year’s and last month’s leader the Dacia Duster (-44%) in complete freefall. The Dacia Logan rounds out the Top 5. Notice also the Geely Atlas and Toyota Prado at equal #10.
